Spring Designs by Simon Horrill

The January talk was very amusing. Simon used to be a ballet dancer who came to gardening late but he had good plant tips and showed us tools he used to make gardening easier. The colour this year is ‘very veri’ – a shade of blue to you and I – and he said that perfect gardens - even minimalist ones – a really hard work to maintain. He suggests that we enjoy our gardens and especially as we get older it is OK to let the garden slide gracefully a little. Apparently the slightly old, rusty and charming look is in this year – hurrah!!
