CGS took a stand at the Flower Show. We had a very good pitch by the entrance to the Exhibition Marquee so we attracted a lot of people as they went in and out of the tent.
We sold a lot of plants and flowers donated by members and thank you everyone who kindly brought us produce and to all those who helped to set up and run our stand. We displayed posters promoting the website, talks and trips, including our new A5-sized colour flyers listing all the benefits of membership with a QR code on the front which goes straight to the membership form. A lot of people took away flyers and we now have several new members. Hopefully there will be more to follow.
