This trip combines Hole Park, a beautiful private house and garden,  and Sissinghurst Castle gardens (National Trust), created by Vita Sackville-West, in Kent.  Hole Park is about 1 1/4 hours from Claygate, near Benenden.  Coffee on arrival while Edward Barham, the owner, will give an introduction on the history of Hole Park and gardens.  Light lunches are available at own cost or bring a packed lunch.  (Order lunches before walking around the gardens, returning to the Coach House for lunch at about 1.00pm.)  

Departure to Sissinghurst (15 minutes away) at 2.00pm where we have a "self-guided" garden tour.   Depart Sissinghurst about 4.45pm, arrive Claygate 6.00pm

Total cost: 

NT members, £39, 

Non-NT members, £55.  

(NT members MUST bring their cards or will have to pay for entry to Sissinghurst).  

If you purchase more than one ticket please let us know who the additional ticket is for.

The cost is based on 20 people (max capacity 25) There will be no refunds but tickets are transferrable to other CGS members.   Depart Claygate (Co-oP) 8.45am, return by 6.00pm
