About the event
What could be nicer than a lazy Summer Garden Party with friends? This year we are organising one for CGS members, hosted by Linda and Steve Wells in their lovely garden at 18, Hare Lane, between 12.30 and 4.00pm on Sunday, 29th June. This will be a fully catered event. At the CGS meeting on 27th March, the cost of this event was announced at £27 per person. However, having reviewed the numbers, and in view of CGS's good financial position, we are happy to reduce this to £25 pp. For this, guests will have a selection of four cold main dishes, four varied salads and a generous bowl-full of summer berries and cream. The cost also includes a donation to Claygate Village Association, with which Linda and Steve have had a long and active involvement as trustees and Chairman.
