About the event
Our “double-bill” visits this year continue with Ightam Mote (NT) and Penshurst, Kent. The cost for both, 20 people travelling, for access to houses and gardens, will be £57.75 for NT members (£75.75 for non-members). Maximum capacity is 29, the coach size. (This is a members-only event due to event insurance. If you would like to become a member you can do so at the point you purchase your ticket).
Depart Claygate 9.30am, return by 6.00pm.
Arrive Ightam Mote at 10.30am (This is a self-guided tour of gardens and house. Coffee, tea and light lunches are available at the cafe, at own cost, or bring your own picnic)
Nicholas Pevsner, the architectural historian, described Ightham Mote as “the most complete small medieval manor house in the county”, and, despite later additions, it remains completely authentic. The earliest recorded owner, who acquired the house in 1360s, fought in France with Edward…

Depart Claygate 9.30am, return by 6.00pm. If non members would like to attend, select the option that includes new digital membership. Please ensure you select the correct ticket for your membership, and bring proof of NT/RHS membership on the day.
